The primary tools that require proficiency are: Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel), Adobe Acrobat Reader. The candidate must be able to operate windows-based computer systems to read drawings, parts lists, requirements and perform other daily tasks. Good visual senses are required to see in three dimensions and in color to interpret the various markings and orientations of components and workmanship quality. Applicant will be required to perform assembly operations involving manual and automated techniques using surface mount equipment such as SMT rework systems, stencil machines, reflow ovens, pick & place machines, soldering irons, wire strippers, general tools and measurement tools.
The applicant must be able to execute through all phases involved in fabricating cable harnesses, chassis assemblies, PCBs using hand and automatic component placement, soldering, conformal coating and potting equipment. This position is for an electronics assembler to perform tasks to fabricate electronic systems and subsystems that include wire harnesses, electronic chassis, mechanical assemblies and printed circuit boards.
